Driving from store to store

My newly found friends were also newly wrong. The storefront where they had planned to purchase their equipment was bored up with big letters written on the side of the building "No Tresspassing" and now it was nearly 3:30 pm much much too late to go caving. I decided that I'd better head back to the yacht and my friends said hearty good-byes to me as they rushed off to their motel, and me with a wasted day ashore headed back to the yacht.

let's get off the boat and see if we can find some spots to purchase our gear...

Land and caving

We have landed on our destination...
and are going to go caving! I need to get my cave gear on as the cave can get wet and cold and I haven't been before. It is a great priviledge since cavers are very secretive about their locations etc. and aren't quick to invite due to vandelism etc. I had to do a few clean ups of caves back home to get to find out about this cave so they would trust me and I got to meet the leader of the cave exploration who told me about it. so this will be pretty exciting!

Have you seen the sea hag?

Oh look...a Pirate ship! That looks super cool...and it looks like some other sail boats are in the distance. I wonder what such a ship is doing here?
I heard that black beard used to do something weird with gun powder...put it in his beard or eat it??? I
also hear that there are still pirates today! But more of a modern kind. Hmmm probably in diver's outfits and leather coats and rifles no doubt. I wonder what it would like to be a pirate...hi ho! shiver me timbers or something like that... Kind of like talk like a pirate day oy and all that good stuff. I probably would end up being some type of toothless wench on board ...I mean really even though the movies show all these ravishing beautiful women to sea...the truth is any woman at sea was probably more like a sea hag than a beauty Queen...Hmmm...I wonder how the sea hag lived...there ya go...Shiver me timbers oy there ahoy...I be the Sea Hag of this old yacht! Would ye like to walk the plank? Okay...I guess I am getting a little silly on my vacation...and it's getting hot here in the Florida Sun and it looks like it's time to go below and grab a good book by Cynthia Baxter and read a nice mystery and get a nice coke..who knows I may even take a nap and dream about the Old Sea hag...and the many adventures she has..hey look.. think of anyone you know that looks like a sea hag? smelling like salt with a crooked face and a scortched hands...I wonder how she became a sea hag...perhaps she was abandoned or was in love at one time or was the wife of a pirate.. The old Sea hag...pity the poor sea hag...the only life she ever knew... but then again...it's time for me coke and mystery.

Starting our virutal Vacation....

hey...if you can't go on a real vacation...let us all have a virtual vacation! Here we all are...and I am so glad you decided to join us... right now as we start our VACATION! Wow it's fabulous! I'm sitting on a boat.
Just enjoying the warm ...air...it's a little breezy today so I decided to wear pants. Just relaxing down here in Florida...oh it's awesome. Today I am going to spend the entire day on the boat. It's kind of cool because I never have been on a yacht before. There are servants and free food and drinks, and if I want I can even fish. This is going to be a fun day...I am going to go up above and view the coast of florida until it is completely out of sight. It is so beautiful here. Like a taste of heaven. I am so glad you are here with me.
